For the past 15 years, I've refined my technique and musicianship while performing and teaching guitar. I have experience teaching children and adults from beginner to advanced in the many styles the guitar offers.

About Me

I've been intrigued by music since a young age and set a goal years ago to be the best musician, performer, and teacher I can possibly be. Shortly after picking up the guitar at age 10, I started taking lessons which I continued until graduating from high school. I was then accepted into the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee's Peck School of the Arts where I studied with John Stropes, Andrew Lardner, and Rene Izquierdo earning a BFA in Finger-Style Guitar performance. For the past five years, I have been able to share my love of music with the elderly while I work at a senior living facility as a music specialist.

I love to perform for people. It has been a dream of mine since a young age and I feel blessed with the opportunity so share it.

I also love teaching music. It allows me the opportunity to hear music through my students, giving me a fresh perspective. Sharing my passion with others is extremely rewarding.

Music transcription is important in preserving music of previous generations.  I actively enjoy the transcription of unwritten guitar compositions that are the foundation of finger-style guitar.

In the past five years, my work with the elderly has had a profound impact on my appreciation of music and its healing powers.  I have played before impaired individuals who come to life with the sounds of music and have played for hospice patients as they complete their journey on this earth.  The influence of music is universal and it humbles me to be a conduit 0f its powers.

I'd like to share music with you
